More Information: Magfa IT Development Center (joint stock Company) was recorded on 28th April 1981 under the number 40408 at the Registration Administration of Companies and Industrial Properties of Tehran as Puyandan Co. The company name changed to Iran Center of Research and Self-Sufficiency on February 28th 1982 and then again to the Open Research Center on 31st January 2002. At the beginning of the year 2003 in implementing IDRO’s policies and missions based on developing the country’s ICT, the company name changed to Magfa IT development center on 15th April 2003.
In implementing general policies the constitution’s article 44, Magfa was entered on the list to be transferred to the private sector but the transfer was not complete up to the year 2014 therefore later that year the council of ministers decided against this transfer.
