More Information: AFA steel company by effort of Mr. Mahmoud Ebrahimi founder and chairman of the board of company, after getting establishment license from Ministry of Industry, Mine & Trade for steelmaking and rebar rolling mill plants, had started its activity on a land with the area of 14 hectares in East Azarbyjan in 2009.
This company was registered under the trade name of "AFA steel" at General Department of Industrial Ownership.
The factory will be established in three phases as follows:
- 1st Phase: Construction of rolling mill plant with annual production capacity of 300000 tons per year and rebar and medium rolled steel sections (Rebars & Equal Angles)
- 2nd Phase: Construction of steel making plant with annual billet production capacity of 600000 tons per year
- 3rd Phase: Construction of rebar rolling plant with annual production capacity of 600000 tons per year
The first phase of plant has already been operated and manufacturing of rebars is in progress according to INSO 3132 and GOST 5781standards AII grade for 8 and 10 sizes and AIII grade in 12 to 32 sizes.
This company received ISO9001:2008 from QA-Technic Company in Germany in 2013.
